The department has 8 doctors, 8 nurses.
Activities:
• Diagnostics and treatment of benign and malignant neoplasms of the female genital sphere (vulva, vagina, cervix, uterine body, ovaries, fallopian tubes and peritoneum);
• Diagnostics and treatment of trophoblastic tumors;
• Extensive surgeries for locally advanced complicated cervical cancer;
• Extensive surgeries with resection of adjacent organs;
• Extensive cytoreductive surgeries with resection of adjacent organs using intraoperative chemohyperthermia;
• Surgical treatment of locally advanced and disseminated ovarian cancer;
• Surgical treatment of endometrial and cervical cancer using video endoscopic technologies;
• Organ preservation surgeries in young patients of fertile age with early stages of cervical and ovarian cancer;
• Angiosurgery.
Achievements:
• Implemented into clinical practice a method of extensive primary and interval cytoreductive surgeries with the use of intraoperative chemohyperthermia;
• A method of extended extirpation of the uterus with pelvic lymph node dissection is used for malignant neoplasms of the uterine body and cervix of type 3;
• Uterine artery chemoembolization at the first stage of combination therapy for endometrial and cervical cancer is used to increase the resectability of the primary tumor;
• Implemented a method of surgical treatment of endometrial and cervical cancer using video endoscopic technologies;
• Application of photodynamic therapy for precancer and early stages of cervical and vaginal cancer.

• Combined primary cytoreductive surgeries for advanced ovarian cancer using intraoperative chemohyperthermia;
• Combination therapy for cervical cancer;
• Surgical treatment of endometrial cancer after uterine artery chemoembolization.
